Adapted from a foundational pillar of Western literature, The Odyssey follows the lengthy quest of the legendary King of Ithaca. After his triumph at Troy, as told within the companion epic, the king faces a long and perilous return to his homeland. Mythical Encounters and a Star-Studded Lineup Along his path, Odysseus confronts numerous obstacles and legendary creatures. These include the enchantress Circe, known for turning humans into pigs, as well as the treacherous Sirens. Despite these trials, his sworn oath is to do whatever it takes to get back to Penelope and Telemachus on his home island. The adaptation's cast is remarkably star-studded. Joining Damon, Holland, and Hathaway is Charlize Theron as the cunning Circe, alongside Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Elliot Page, and Jon Bernthal.
